Shrimp Cocktail Napoleons

A layered appetizer with the flavors of shrimp cocktail.

Preparation

  1. Place shrimp, celery and Traina Sun Dried Tomato Sriracha Ketchup in a bowl and mix to combine.
  2. Place avocado, red wine vinegar and salt in a small bowl and mix to combine.
  3. Place orange and honey in a small bowl and mix to combine.
  4. Using a small 4 oz round cup, place 1/6 of the oranges in the bottom, then layer on 1/6 of the shrimp mix, then 1/6 of the avocado mix.  Press with a spoon to cause the layers to adhere to one another.
  5. Then place a cracker on top of the mixture, turn the cup upside down and allow the layered mix to pull away from the cup so that you have a beautiful layered appetizer.  Place that on a dish and garnish with celery leaves.

Ingredients

  • 20 shrimp deveined, cooked and peeled, then diced
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 3 avocados, diced
  • 1 orange, segments peeled and diced
  • 2 Tbs Traina Sun Dried Tomato Sriracha Ketchup
  • ½ tsp honey
  • 1 tsp red wine vinegar pinch of salt
  • 6 large round crackers
