I found that they are best in a savory recipe. I tried them in a spicy chicken chili because it’s a great recipe for using dried apricots and they were amazing!
I have used sun dried apricots in a couple of my favorite recipes and they are amazing!
However, I had never heard of California Sun Dried Apricots before, so when I saw them at a local grocery store, I figured I would give them a try. I was not disappointed. These are the best apricots I have ever tasted! The fruit is so sweet

The flavor is unique and interesting. Sun dried apricots are a lot like dried cherries but they are a bit sweeter and are a great addition to many recipes.
I have to admit, I have a weakness for apricots. I love them so much that I have a hard time getting through a week without a bowl of them.
